JCM2000 DSL100 Main Board
from $340.00

Help is here. As many players know, Marshall discontinued efforts to correct this board after more than 20 revisions and no longer offers it for sale. In response, Rick Baker undertook the task of building a reliable replacement and making it available to the public.

This board has been professionally redesigned, and the original issues have been fully corrected. Several upgrades have also been implemented. The original bias board has been eliminated and replaced with a more traditional, reliable bias circuit. Multi-turn trim pots have been added for precise bias adjustment. The PCB itself is manufactured from a higher-quality material designed to withstand high voltages and temperatures, finished in a distinctive muscle-car purple.

The board ships with correctly sized standoffs to match the height of the output tube sockets, eliminating PCB flex. All boards are built in the U.S.A. and are direct replacements for the JCM2-60-00 PCBs.

The board is also available with optional modifications. Customers may choose from three versions:

Stock
This version retains the original JCM2000 circuit and does not alter the amp’s factory tone or response.

Neo Mod
The Neo Mod addresses the harsh fizz and excessive treble found in the power amp section. It tightens the low end and smooths the high frequencies but retaining the high compression and aggressive grit, resulting in an overall character similar to a Soldano SLO-100.

Obi Mod
The Obi Mod transforms the amplifier into a more traditional, hot-rodded Marshall voice reminiscent of a JCM800 or Plexi, but with less compression and a more dynamic, open response. This modification also corrects the overall voicing of the amp, allowing the EQ controls to be set at noon for an excellent starting point with minimal tweaking, similar to the behavior of a Friedman BE-100. In this configuration, the Lead 1 channel delivers fully modded Marshall tones designed for high gain, ranging from maxed-out José-style Marshall sounds to aggressive Friedman HBE-level gain. The Crunch channel functions like a cranked, stock JCM800, ideal for classic rock tones. The Clean channel becomes slightly grittier, resembling a JTM45, while still being capable of dialing back to sparkling clean tones.

Note that the modded versions disable the Deep Switch button, it’s no longer able to change from different depth settings.

The board also has an optional Fast-On Terminals to install a choke instead of the stock resistor. Adding a choke will increase the amp’s dynamics (more punch) and will feel much more pleasant to play, this doesn’t change the tone of the amp, only dynamic performance and feel.

Note that the product image of the board you see may not be the exact board or variant you selected, the images are for display.

FX Loop Kit
$50.00

New effects loop now available. Built off the tried and true low loss LND150 design but with many improvements. The board utilizes the surface mount technology FET's that enables the board to be designed to heat sink away any heat allowing the FET's to remain cool and operate more efficiently. All of the traces carrying audio signals are run on the internal layers of the PCB keeping them shielded from any noise. Another benefit of this kit is there is very little soldering involved. The IN/OUT switch comes prewired so all you have to do is connect the other ends into your amp, saving you time and money. The kit comes with 6 voltage dropping resistors so you can get to the target voltage of 300V, and a ground lug and screw. This kit will work with any Marshall 2203, 2204, Plexi style amps or clones or any other similar tube amp. The loop can be used with or without the IN/OUT switch. Jacks are gold plated and are spaced 1 1/2" apart.

JCM2000 DSL 100/50 Rear Output Board
$150.00

This redesigned board features a fully regulated ±15V power supply for improved stability and consistency, while optimized grounding ensures all output jacks maintain a solid, noise-reducing connection. At the heart of the upgrade is an integrated LND150 high-voltage FX loop, eliminating traditional op-amps to preserve your amp’s natural tone and dynamics.

Additional refinements include gold-plated output jacks for enhanced conductivity and durability, as well as replaceable fuses for easier maintenance and long-term reliability.
